Rome's Comparison to America

Many of Rome's problems came from migratory tribes from the north and invasions from the east. We deal with similar problems, but as humans develop, so do our problems. We have issues of migration, but they tend to be illegal nd they do not tend to pillage and rape our women. They still come to our land and they sometimes try not to integrate into our society like the barbarians did to Rome. They had also faced invasions from the East, in particular, they fought the Persian Empire and the Abbasid Caliphate. We face threats from the same area without them being a genuine country. We instead fight terrorists and groups that instill fear within our masses.
